Group 3/7 SAREX KRAL (26-T-4446)

This Group 3 and Group 7 SAREX is a combined air and ground training exercise supporting ground team operations in the Big Bear area, with Mission Base operating from KRAL to provide command, control, and documentation, aircrews conducting remote launch operations in support of the exercise, and ground teams deploying to mountainous terrain to emphasize air to ground coordination, terrain navigation, clue awareness, and disciplined ICS execution from planning through sortie completion.  OBJECTIVES:

1. Train 5 new Mission Observers 
2. Renew 4 Mission Observers
3. Train 4 new Mission Scanners
4. Train 4 new Airborne Photographers
5. Train 1 new Mission Safety Officer
6. Train ground teams in air/ground coordination, terrain navigation, and clue awareness
